Challenge #1 ~ Sketch

I had a great sketch to work with this week at LCOM. My friend Beth Sears created a fun, hand drawn sketch. Here it is:

I created a layout of my lovely twin girls, Emmy and DD. I used the newest MME paper kit called Life Stories. What a fabulous kraft kit.

We had an amazing sponsor this month. Tanya at Let's Capture Our Memories gave us each some Zva Creative Gems to work with. I am in love with these. So lovely and girlie. Challenge #9 ~ Cards

I am just getting used to making cards. I must admit that I still struggle with them. I find it difficult to use such a small space to create with.

However, I made the following two cards using a sketch posted at Let's Capture These Sketches that Darlene posted. I was instantly inspired to create not one.... but two cards.

Here is the layout I did for Scrapdango using my Sugar Kit. I really loved how the Scribble Scrabble papers made this photo of Emmy just POP off the page. The colors really are amazing.
