My Sketch World DT Call

Do you have a passion for scrapbooking? Do you love to create cards? Do you love Sketches? Then send in your application! We are looking for layout and card sketch designers for My Sketch World.
Submissions are from June 15, 2009 to July 10, 2009 The names of the new designers will be posted on July 15, 2009 on the blog First reveal of their work with new sketches will be August 1, 2009
You must me registered at My Sketch World Forum before you send in the application and we would like to get to know you during the call
Please include this with your creations:
Name
MSW username
Email Address
Blog Link
Online Gallery links
Resume or list
Please Send us : 4 of your favorite layouts or cards that is based by my sketches. They don’t have to be new.
The Design Team will be required to: Must have a blog to post your creations and events that will be going on at MSW Complete 1 or 2 layouts/cards per month using my sketches that I provide
Host a DT Challenge every other month during your term
Participate in our crops
Participate in Message Board and DT blog discussions on a regular basis
Leave praise in the gallery
Post your DT creations on galleries and blogs throughout the web, whenever possible
Help moderate the MB and alert the Admin if you find anything inappropriate
Post our Design Team Blinkie in your signatures where permitted and also on your blog
This is a Term is for 6 months position from August 2009 until January 2010

My Sketchworld Blog ~ Challenge #3

Most of you know already that my friend Lucy has her own sketch site and I use her sketches quite often. Did you know that she has asked me to be her Blog Coordinator???

Yes.... I am so pumped to be helping her out. Her sketches are amazing and her forum site rocks!! Make sure to head on over and check it out. She is such a sweetheart and her design team is so diverse. I love that!

I just posted my first challenge for her blog based on this layout:

I used my amazing May kit from Mon Ame Memories. This kit is so lovely. I combined it with Lucy's May 1st sketch:

Here is close up of the hand stitching I did on the layout. I posted a tutorial on Lucy's Blog.

Challenge #3: Go and check out The Sketchworld Blog. Pick and sketch of Lucy's and use it as the foundation of your next layout. If you choose to hand stitch on it you will not only earn an extra ballot for my draw BUT... you will also earn a ballot for Lucy's Blog Draw too!!

A Cool Contest ~ Challenge #1

My good friend Lucy has a cool contest on her sketch blog. Scrapdango has generously donated a February kit as the prize!! Carrie is so sweet and generous!! When you get a chance check out the kits for this month. The last few have sold out!!

A Happy Girl

I have some fun news to share with everyone. I received word today that I have been selected as DT Assistant Coordinator for Mon Ame Memories!! It is a sweet and charming site out of California. It has a great family atmosphere and I am really excited for this opportunity. I have an amazingly talented bunch of girls to work with. I am really pumped for this opportunity.

I have to admit that I was so depressed today because my term at The Scrapping Bug was done as my term with Lucy at My Sketchworld Blog. I woke up feeling a little empty today and I am going to bed overjoyed!! I sure am a Lucky Girl!!
