Challenge #9 ~ Cards

I am just getting used to making cards. I must admit that I still struggle with them. I find it difficult to use such a small space to create with.

However, I made the following two cards using a sketch posted at Let's Capture These Sketches that Darlene posted. I was instantly inspired to create not one.... but two cards.

Challenge #8 ~ weScrap Gives Back

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month weScrap is giving back.For every layout that is posted in the specific thread weScrap will donate to Breast Cancer Research!!!

I am also offering this challenge to you girls. Here is the information:

This is a very special challenge that I hope everyone will find time to complete this weekend.weScrap is going to give back this weekend. I know we already donated money for the cause last month but we wanted to do more and inspire you to create at the same time. Flashchat Bingo Game

Challenge #7 ~ Numbers

I created the following layout using the latest kit from weScrap. Since taking over running the site with Ally we have put together some great kits that we can't wait for everyone to see. The following is our first kit release. Grab it while you can because at just $20.99 they are going quickly!

One of the layouts I created for the DT Reveal is of my darling twins, Emmy and DD. I absolutely loved the papers together. They seemed to work with every photo I wanted to use. I used one of Ally's So Sketchy sketches as the base for this layout.

Notice the super cool button I used?? It will be featured in the next kit!! Here is a sneak peek:

Challenge #6 ~ Layer It

It is time to get back on track and punching out the layouts and challenges. I have an easy one for you to do. It is all about layering!! I love to layer my papers and distress them.

Here is the layout I just completed featuring my departed and much missed do, Storm. This layout was difficult to do seeing as I still miss him terribly. However, I can now stare at it sitting in my scrap room and feel close to him.

I used the amazing sketch provided this week from the lovely and talented Jana Eubank. It had my name all over it. Love the big circle!! I made the following layout using the wonderful Color Me Stampset. These stamps provide one of the crispest images and have amazing cling. Run out and grab some.

I wanted to keep the word Fall quite simple because there was so much going on. Love the cream color and the simplicity. This layout features my lovely girls.
