Hello everyone..... I am a happy girl today!!

Kristine at Creative Scrappers had asked me to participate in their 125th Sketch Blog Celebration!! I can't believe that they already have made 125 sketches on the blog!! Time sure flies.... I love how wonderful Kristine is and I have been a part of Creative Scrappers for a very long time now. It's fun to watch it continue to grow and evolve and I am thrilled for the girls.

The 2010 Winter Olympic Games have begun and so has our search for the newest Guest Designer here at WeScrap!

Come and join us in the WeScrap forum for the formal announcement of the Guest Designer Contest. CCAS Creative Chicks & Challenge #1

Some of you may not know that my friend Ally and I run the CCAS blog. It is a great resource of information.

Have you ever wanted to be a Creative Chick and share your creativity with others? Now here’s your chance to apply for a guest position on the CCAS blog.

How to Apply:

1. You must put a link on your blog to the CCAS blog and showcase the site in some way to help advertise all the cool things here.

2. You must submit one layout based on a Sunday sketch featured during April or May, one layout based on one the challenges during the month April or May and one tip that is scrapbook related to be posted on the blog.

Your guest designer requirements will include:

- Monday: Posting a challenge with an example.

- Tuesday: Posting a scrapbook related tip or two.

- Wednesday: Posting a word of the day with an example of the word used on a page or card.

- Thursday: Posting a tutorial for a scrapbook related project. This does not need to be a large project.

- Friday: Posting a link to one of your favourite free font sites. Example is optional.

- Saturday: Share your favourite site or blog with the CCAS readers.

Due Date: May 31st

Email all 3 of your submissions along with your name, location and a link to your personal blog to Tara at thynner5@yahoo.ca with “CCAS Guest Designer” in the subject line.

So Thankful ~ Challenge #9

My turn as a Guest DT for Art Freckles comes to an end today. I have had soooooo much fun hosting a Pirate themed Battleship Game. The girls have really embraced the pirate language and we have been having so much fun shooting and dodging cannons.


I hosted a fun Mystery Layout Challenge where I had the girls "Cook up a Layout". There have been alot of great layouts made.


This kit I had to work with was so lovely that I ended up buying one to giveaway as my blog prize this month!! Along with a Cosmo Cricket Blackboard Album. They will look so awesome together.

Head on over to the AF Store to order your own kit. There are still a few kits left. Or try and get a few of my challenges done this weekend to earn some ballots for the kit!

Some Fabulous News

I have been so excited the last few days. I received word that I was chosen as a Guest Design Team member for an amazing new kit Club called Art Freckles. The forum has a great family vibe to it and the girls are really talented too.

Shannon had just under 50 people apply for the call. She was looking for a new DT member and two Guest DT's. I honestly didn't think I stood a chance when I saw the numbers and the talent ladies that applied. Soooooooooo.... I was super excited when I got the news!!

Congrats to Kimberly for being the newest DT at Art Freckles. She is really talented and deserves the spot! A big shout out to my new buddy Ching for winning the other Guest DT spot. She is awesome and man... she can scrap!
