Challenge #1 ~ Sketch

I am thrilled to say that the latest sketch has been posted on the Let's Capture These Sketches Blog and my BFF, Ally, was the wonderful designer. We also had great sponsor this month. Notice the cute license plate stamp on this layout? It is from Gel-a-tins!! I have been lucky to have this one added to my collection!

Here is the layout I created using her sketch. It is of my sweet DD....er Tori.... or is it DD??

Journaling:

DD: Mama, I want everyone to call me Tori from now on. I am all grown up.

Me: Can I still call you DD?

DD: Of course, I'm still you little girl

Challenge: Go on over to the Let's Capture These Sketches Blog and use Ally's sketch (#8) for your next creation. Email it to me at thynner5@yahoo.ca to earn a ballot for this months draw.

Bonus: Link your layout on the Let's Capture These Sketches blog for a chance to win some Gel-a-tins stamp set!

Due Date: Sept. 30th

Challenge #6 ~ Rub-ons

One of the things that I have alot of and rarely use are rub-ons!!

I have just rediscovered my love of them this past week. I was given a wonderful Pink Paislee kit from Let's Capture These Sketches and in the kit was some rub-ons. They were just so beautiful I knew I had to use them.

I used a bunch of them on the following layout that was posted on the Let's Capture These Sketches. I had a fun sketch to use that Emily designed!! Hop on over to the sketch blog and see the other wonderful creations and to see the sketch too.

Challenge: Use a minimum of three rub-ons on your next layout or card to earn a ballot for this month's blog prize!! Either email it to me at thynner5@yahoo.ca or link it below.

Bonus #1: Tell me how many rub-ons I used when sending in your creation for an extra ballot!!

Bonus #2: Wanna win a Pink Paislee prize pack?? Use any sketch posted at Let's Capture These Sketches and earn a ballot for the draw!! You'll love it!

Happy Scrapping!!

Happy Father's Day & Challenge # 25

Happy Father's Day to all the great Dad's out there. I was just thinking that I should have taken my camera with me to supper with my Dad for a photo. Blond moment. I love and adore my Dad and I am the luckiest girl in the world to have been adopted and have him as a father.

Here is my darling hubby, Steve and my sweet girls. They adore their Dad. One of the reasons I fell in love with him was how he treated his niece, Becky. I just knew right away that he would make an amazing Dad and I was right.

Challenge:

I would like to see you make a layout of either your Dad and you or of your significant other and your children. A photo of your child(ren) and someone they call "Dad" or of you and your Dad.

Email it to me at thynner5@yahoo.ca to earn a ballot for the draw.

BONUS: Post a message to your Dad or something about your Dad on your blog. You will earn a ballot for this bonus challenge. Just post the blog link below. If you don't have a blog them you can email it to me.

Due Date: June 30th

Draw Date: July 1st
