I must apologize for the delay. I have had a house full of H1N1 Flu and we are only now getting on the road to recovery.

Thanks again girls for all the lovely creations that are in the Slide Show and all the wonderful thought when I had to put my dog down. All those people who sent me warm wishes were all given a ballot as well.

Challenge #9 ~ Cards

I am just getting used to making cards. I must admit that I still struggle with them. I find it difficult to use such a small space to create with.

However, I made the following two cards using a sketch posted at Let's Capture These Sketches that Darlene posted. I was instantly inspired to create not one.... but two cards.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month weScrap is giving back.For every layout that is posted in the specific thread weScrap will donate to Breast Cancer Research!!!

Challenge #6 ~ Layer It

It is time to get back on track and punching out the layouts and challenges. I have an easy one for you to do. It is all about layering!! I love to layer my papers and distress them.

Here is the layout I just completed featuring my departed and much missed do, Storm. This layout was difficult to do seeing as I still miss him terribly. However, I can now stare at it sitting in my scrap room and feel close to him.

Thank You & 7 Gyspies Extention!!!

I am so grateful to everyone for all the kind words, the emails and the few cards that I have received as well. I took great comfort in your stories and your words of support. It really is comforting to know that so many of you have had to go through grieving and to know that you care enough to post.

I have given everyone who commented and emailed me ballots for my 7 Gypsies Draw!! Those of you who shared your stories and made layout will earn extra ballots. It's not too late to do a layout on your furry friend!!

I am extending the 7 Gypsies Contest since I took some time to be with my family as we grieved for our furry friend. You now will have until the end of October to earn ballots for this great prize!! Yeppers.... I will be posting lots more challenges and games to give you plenty of opportunities to win. I have played with this and it rocks!!! You're going to love it!
